Avery had his Christmas Band Concert this week.

Thank you Marty and Kyle for the access.  The family spent the day at the Los Angeles Auto Show.  There was a lot of eye candy.  All of us found something we liked.

On October 16 – 18, Tylor went with some friends to the US Paintball League World Paintball Championships on the Vegas Strip!  Here are some of his photos as well as some video.

On Memorial Day we had a BBQ with friends.  It had been hot the last week, but the holiday was great for being outdoors.

I took the kids to see Tim Bradley at the Bakersfield Gun Club today.  Tim Bradley is a member of Team Benelli U.S.A. as an exhibition shooter.Tim is an incredible shot.  He put on a great show.  The kids and I really enjoyed it.

Next year is my 20 year High School Reunion.  I've created a website for it to help promote the event.  The Bakersfield North High Class of 1990 website is www.nhsbakersfield1990.com.

Avery had his final school year Band Concert last night.  The band received a Superior Award from the CA Music Educators Association.  Avery and his fellow section members were awarded the "Outstanding Section" Award for the 2009 school year.  Congratulations!  All that practice paid off.

We spent some time at the park on Easter.

Well, I've finally got my hands on a scanner to scan my old B&W negatives.  Unfortunately it takes 20 minutes per scan.  But the good news is it can scan 12 in one pass.  Here are some samples of early scans.  Be sure to check the Gallery for more.

Today the boys and I spent some time at the Skate Park.  I managed to get a few photos of them.

We were bowling with friends this weekend.  I haven't bowled in years, so today I'm paying for it with sore muscles.  We had a fun time.  Check out the photos below.

After setting up the mini studio last week, I decided to rebuild it and do some pictures of the kids and one of their friends with their instruments.  Here's a few photo's from that "Studio Day".

Here are some new family photos for 2009.  I've needed to take some family photos for some time, but the weather around here has been horrible.  I prefer to take photos outside in the environment, but I broke down and converted the living room into a small studio today when it started raining.  I don't have any professional lighting equipment so I just made do with what I could make work.  I did manage to get some photos in the back yard of Rex before the rain.
