Canon has released a new EOS Digital SLR:

EOS-1D Mark III

This is a new 10.1 megapixel digital SLR with 1.3x lens conversion.  It's has impressive specs.  Not that I would turn it down if someone wanted to give me one, but with a MSRP of $4k I've still got my eye on the 5D.

Overview: 

• 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor (APS-H size) with Canon's EOS Integrated Cleaning System.
• 3.0-inch LCD monitor.
• Redesigned 100% viewfinder.
• 45-point AF system.
• Can shoot up to 10 fps continuously with a maximum burst of 110 shots.
• Dual "DIGIC III" Image Processors work in tandem to speed up every process while refining image quality.
• New, lighter body has improved weather sealing and shutter durability.
