Merry Christmas from JNT and Family.

Thursday was Avery's Christmas Band Concert. Below are pictures of the band, Avery, and some friends.

The Titans lost 9 to 39 against the Mustangs. The Titans had the home field advantage, but it wasn't enough for a win.

I have a new camera on my wish list which replaces the two I listed on this website last year. It's the new Canon EOS 5D Mark II. It combines the full frame sensor of the 21.1mp EOS-1Ds Mark III and the speed (well not the full speed, but fast enough to get my attention) of the EOS-1D Mark III. And considering that the Suggested Retail Price is only $2699.00, compared to nearly $12,000.00 to purchase both the 1D and 1Ds, I'm excited. This camera is far more realistic. |

Thursday the Titans battled Highland High School. Unfortunately, the Titans lost 14 to 33. But it was a good game overall with some well run plays by the Titans.

Here are some photos of the kids.

The Titans battled the Vikings today and unfortunately Frontier lost against West 13 to 14. The Titans rallied the last two minutes of the fourth quarter but were stopped a few yards short by an pass interception.

Thursday, October 2nd Frontier played North High School and won 34 to 0. North had problems holding on to the ball. Here are some pictures.

Friday, September 26th was Frontier's 1st Homecoming. Since the new school does not have it's stadium lights yet, the game was played at Liberty High school as a home game. Unfortunately the team lost to Exeter 14 to 28. However there was a tremendous turnout with lots of school spirit.

It's that time of year again. And the kids are showing rabbits at the Fair. Mrs. Sniffles took 2nd in her class (Last year she took 1st, she's getting old though). Derrick took 1st in his class. Unfortunately, Abby was disqualified because of a registration error.

Austyn decided he wanted to be in band this year. He wanted to play the Trombone. It's a bit much for him to handle but he seems to really like it.

Tyler has started his freshman year at high school. We went to Back to School night this past week and we got to see his favorite class and meet the teacher. Mr. Bryce Hatch is the teacher for Film Production. Tyler has been making film shorts with his friends for years, so he was very excited to find out that the high school offers this class. Here are some photos of the classroom I took with the camera phone at Back to School Night.
We learned that the various classes will be making film shorts, a feature length production movie, a 9 series sit-com, and a live news desk which will be sent to all the classrooms in the morning. We are curious to see some of the final productions. I wish they would have had classes like these when I was in high school! ;) |

Here is some more video of Austyn singing during his month long visit with his grandparents.

Every time I turn around there seems to be another animal at our home. Ah, I cherish the days when we just had a single cat. One pet is is more than enough for one family. If you can't make the trip to San Diego, be sure sure to stop by our Wild Animal Park. The Petting Zoo is free for kids of all ages. :)

Austyn spent about a month with his Grandparents in Arkansas during the summer. The video below was taken of Austyn singing with Skylar Baker (the little girl) at the Little-O-Oprey in West Fork, Arkansas. Click here for more information about the Little-O-Oprey.

Spare Change is a local three piece band that plays a menagerie of different rock songs. They played at Fishlips a local bar downtown last Friday. The picture that follow are from that night.

Here are some photos I've taken this week.

Today marks the start of the new California hands free cell phone law. In an effort to prevent JNTWEB readers who are California residents from receiving expensive tickets because they couldn't afford those expensive Bluetooth headsets, we here at the JNTWEB R&D Facility have created a new and inexpensive hands free device. The Stick it and Forget it - Hands Free Cell Phone DeviceThe Stick it and Forget it - Hands Free Cell Phone Device comes in three attractive colors; Yellow, Red, and Black.

There was a little gift waiting for me on the dinning room table today. It's a golf club pen set. Thanks honey. |

As mentioned in the previous post, "Our Two Movie Stars", Tylor did some modeling when we lived back east. I just wanted to post a few samples from his Portfolio for those who haven't seen them before.
|
|
Approximately three years ago, when we lived in PA, Tylor was doing regular modeling jobs for Toys R Us and Lillian Vernon. During that time, his agent Kathy got him and his brother a job as extras in a movie shot near Philly called Blur. They got to use their own bikes and spent the whole day on set. They seemed to enjoy whole experience. Especially the catering tent.
The movie wasn't released in theaters but it did finally come out on DVD. If you are interested, the DVD is available at multiple online retailers such as Amazon. Just do a search via your favorite seach engine and you should be presented with several places to buy. |
|
On the morning of May 30th, Tylor graduated from Jr. High. Gosh I'm really beginning to feel old. He'll start high school next year. He wants to be in football and starts summer practice on Monday. The ceremony was held at a local high school. Luckily the weather was very nice and it wasn't hot at all. There was 300+ graduates, so the ceremony was a bit long.
Tylor we're proud of you.

Terri added yet another animal to our Wild Animal Park, aka our home. The local supply store had a box of cute little ducks that she just couldn't ignore and ultimately couldn't live without getting one. She Named the duck Dexter after the main character (which is a serial killer) in the show Dexter on Showtime. I wasn't super happy about the addition, so I didn't bother to take any photos when she was little. But I think she has has grown up (and fattened up) very well. I keep thinking we should have a Bar-B-Que. Yummy.....
|
|

Have a great day! |
|
I was plyaing around with the camera when I came up with the bright idea of taking product shots of our watches using natuaral light. A macro lens would have probably been better, but I don't own one and don;t plan to get one. Here are some samples of the mini shoot.
|
|
I'm not sure which neighbors yard he borrowed them from, but Avery gave his mother some cute little flowers for Mothers Day. |

It's official, I've won the Annual Inky Dinky Do Scavanger Hunt. Unfortunately there wasn't as many completed hunts turned in this year as last year. But as usual I enjoyed the process of taking the photos, "go figure". Anyway, if you would like to see this years submissions click here . To see last years submissions click here . |
|
Well it's that time of year again. It's the annual Inky-Dinky-Do Scavenger Hunt. All photos had to be submitted by Midnight, Sunday, May 4th. I made the deadline by about 3 and a half hours. You can go to the Gallery in the menu to the left, or Click Here to see my photo submissions for this years hunt. I feel I did a better job with last years photos. I just didn't have the time "I wanted" to spend on the project this year. But it was fun, and that's why I do it. For those who know me, if it involves photography, computers, or food I'm all over it. |
|
The only problem with Austyn taking up the sport of running is that unless I want to run along with him my opportunities to see and watch him are limited. Luckily I had the camera to keep me busy. The photos below are from my "waiting for austyn to make another lap" time periods.
|
|
Austyn joined the "Rosedale Racers" cross country and track team some time back. They have had a few meets already. I'll post photos as I'm able to. Here are some pictures from practice.

|
Back in 2003 I accepted a position with the company I was working for at their head offices in New Jersey. When we moved 3000 miles across country we had to leave our dog Cloe behind with a friend. After about 4 years we moved back to Bakersfield, and Cloe was re-united with our family. Welcome home Cloe!

Once I painted my wifes pc the kids wanted me to paint theirs. Suddenly a simple "Honey Do" turned into this big, but at least inexpensive project. The Green case is Avery's and the Yellow case is Austyn's. Tylor wants his case painted digital camo. That will take a little more time then I have right now, so he'll just have to wait. Here are the before and after photos. |

On April 17th my wife (Terri) and I celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary. With a little help from friends and family we were able to take a cruise (just the two of us, without the kids) the week of our Anniversary with stops at Catalina Island, CA and Ensenada, Mexico. Although the trip was way to short, it was incredibly fun. I would recommend to anyone that they give a cruise a try. I know what you are thinking, “I’ll get sick”, but we had prescription patches for sea sickness for the entire trip and we didn’t have any problems at all.
At dinner on our Anniversary, our server Melichor brought us a little cake. Our favorite food on the ship was the Warm Melting Chocolate Cake. It was so good. I’m hungry just typing about it. To see more photos, click here . |

My wife asked me to "Pimp Her PC" to turn an old computer into a newer and more "Girly" looking one. It's surprising what a $3.58 can of spray paint and a little elbow grease will do. I stilll have to put the old pc components in the case, but here are some pictures of the results. The before: The after:

I had planned to paint the top of the case pink, but my wife (and I) liked the look with the top black. Now she's telling me "I need a pink mouse, keyboard, and monitor to match!" What did I get myself into? |
