Canon has released a new wide angle lens:
EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM  The specs look like a promising improvement over the previous generation. Especially at the 16mm range. I'll be watching the reviews closely. I need and want a wide angle lens and if things pan out this could be it. :)
